KVK has started its nursery Unit at farm where the clones of poplar are being produced.

KVK Farm

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra possess 9 hectors of land which is under cultivation of different cereal crops those are mostly suited in the district. The farm is designed to demonstrate the latest agriculture technologies before their transfer to farmers. Taking in to consideration the structure, texture & topography of land, the farm is divided in two major blocks viz agro forestry, Agronomy, Nursery unit etc. Crop cafeteria to demonstrate latest varieties of different crops is maintained during rabi and kharif season.
